Jeff Bilen

Director of Web Strategies

The wide world of web is forever changing. Its evolution is driven by user demands, technological advancement and the innovative thinking programmers who desire rightly to take the power from “the - invisible - man” and give it to the people. Having been with Scribblers’ Club for over ten years Jeff is well versed in the Scribblers’ client centric business model and helps ensure the delivery of client friendly, self manageable web sites.

Familiar clients might call for a quick fix or addition; whether you speak with a team member or Jeff directly, team resources will be assigned to facilitate the changes quickly or set in motion to prepare a production plan. Shared responsibilities and well managed “under-one-roof” production ensure a client’s web needs are not left hanging.

It goes without saying that Jeff is well versed in HTML, Javascript, CSS, ASP, PHP, SQL Server, MySQL, Flash and the Adobe suites as well as pretty much any other supporting role software one might need to “deliver on a promise.” Jeff considers himself a student of web, but by others is considered to be perhaps one of the best CSS programmers...maybe - anywhere.

Most recently the Scribblers’ team produced a turn key web solution for the Perimeter Scholars International project (www.perimeterscholars.org). The branding of the program, the site design, functionality and delivery all took place within a few weeks. The site seamlessly integrates Flash technology, CSS/HTML, and the MODx content management system, permitting fluid client additions and deletions. Regularly scheduled web production meetings and a “work in progress client site” ensure synergy of client/user demands, the designers and the programming elevating the end product beyond that of an individual. A quick two hour tutorial and the site launched ahead of schedule, with the client holding the keys. The genius is making it look simple. It’s something Jeff and the rest of Scribblers’ design team are proud of.
