Junior / Intermediate Graphic Designer

We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and organized graphic designer to join our team! The Junior/Intermediate designer is a key member of the Scribblers’ club team performing
intermediate level design and production, activities. The position will appeal to designers who enjoy working in a rewarding and passionate design environment, and who possess a desire to work creatively, accurately, efficiently and responsibly.
Career Requirements
- Undergraduate diploma or degree in graphic design or related field
- Minimum 2 years of design experience

The eligible candidate must posses the following traits / skills:
- Exceptional creative skills
- Versatility; able to multi-task and work independently or as part of a team
- Balance between technical, creative and production skills
- Prioritizing; managing and meeting multiple deadlines at a time
- Personable; able to represent Scribblers’ Club when working with clients and managing relationships
- Passionate; aware of the nature of this ever-changing industry, who evolves with current marketing practices
- Organized; incredibly important to have high organizational skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of digital and offset printing processes
- Fluent in social media marketing practices
Technical Requirements
Working knowledge of the following on a mac platform:
- Adobe Creative Suite 5; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
- Quark experience is essential
- Microsoft Office: knowledge of Word, Excel, Entourage, and Power Point is optimum
- Knowledge of Web Software; flash, html, css and After Effects would be an asset
- Video Editing; experience and success with video editing would be favourable
